Yes, I admit it. I'm struggling in vain to create a synthesis image. So while I fumble with the controls of Photoshop I humbly offer this half accidental warping of my profile pic. It's really a lot easier watching someone else cut pieces of a picture up and stick them together with other pictures (and smear it all around with a digital butter knife) than it is when you're trying to do it yourself. That's not to say I'm giving up. If it takes me all night I'm gonna figure this thing out.
